The video shown here is from an actual Black Bear Hunt. It features a spot and stalk hunt that almost succeeded if not for an unfortunate misfire - so the bear lived to see another day.

This video is dedicated to John David Pierce - Known as the “Texas Tracker” who passed away in December of 2007.

He was known to many and will be missed for his insights, his experience and his wonderful stories and hunting adventures.

On some outpost hunts, hunters will stay in remote cabins on lakes or river hunts. Some hunts will be outfitted from a wall tent camp with wood heaters. Alpine hunts are conducted from Alpine cabins and tents.
